There's just something about sitting on a stationary bike, running on a treadmill and gliding on the eliptical that i can no longer handle, and it is very unfortunate... I'M BORED!!
My start weight 2 years ago was 195 lbs. I spent about 5 months at the gym doing tons of cardio on these machines combined with some weight training to lose 40 lbs. Then i quit going to the gym
. Probably not the best decision, but i was happy with the weight i lost. Well, just this last November i decided that i dont feel healthy. I've kept the weight off (with the exception of 5 lbs) but my confidence and health are both suffering because i had become pretty lazy. The only exercise i've been getting is at a dance club 2 nights a week. So i started going to the gym again, and lost that 5 lbs quickly. But i'm stuck at a plateau it seems, because my job changed from physical to office work and frankly, i am getting BORED with the gym. But i have been eating healthy and not consuming too many calories.
So i'm looking for some suggestions on something new for exercise... i just joined a fitness kickboxing group for 2 days a week and i'm pretty excited about that, and i might try some yoga in between. Summer is coming and i need ideas for something new that will give me the same or better benefits than at the gym. Maybe something different for each day of the week. One of the problems is that i get up for work at 4 am and get home at 7 pm. And not alot of fitness programs (like dancefitness, lets say) have classes starting after that. Thank you!
