Ground turkey that tastes like ground beef

Learned this one from my grandparents, simple really; when you grill up your turkey simply crumble a boulian cube into the pan

Oh I'm gonna have to try it, I don't like turkey meat, but I will have to give it a try as it is more healthy.

You have to watch the nutrition info on the ground turkey. I've picked up tubes of it at the grocery to find that they've added as much fat to it as is found in very fatty ground beef. Guess they're grinding up extra skins and adding them to the mix. Anyway, calorically speaking it can be as bad as regular hamburger.

Surely there's a lean brand out there someplace.

It's one of the staples of my eating plan . I brown it with minced garlic and when it is cooked , I toss salsa in it . Great tasting and low in fat. I usually put it in a Wheat wrap .

I fry ground turkey in a pan with just a little butter. When almost cooked I add water to almost cover the meat and a beef or chicken boulian to the mix. Once the flavor and eveything is cooked I add just a little flour and water and in makes a gravy. Pour it over whole wheat noodles. It is delicious!

when you are buying your ground turkey you need to check the package to make sure it is ground white meat turkey the other kind is not that good for you fat wise!
