Hello, my fellow forum memebers. If you hadn't already figured it out, I'm new here. My name is Jeremy, I'm 15, almost 16, years old, about 6'1" tall, and I weigh roughly 230 pounds. And I'm here in hopes of finding help in losing a little bit of weight.
Now, I've always been a heavier set person. Looking back at old pictures of me, you'll always see that'd I've been carrying extra weight for most of my life. Now, this isn't because I eat a lot. Because I don't. I think it's because most of the things I do eat and drink aren't the healthiest. And there's the fact that I get absolutely no routine exercise outside of my school gym class. And, I know this sounds and bit cliche, but I'm pretty sure I don't have a very good metabolism, either.
But hopefully that's about to change. Starting soon, this'll be my workout routine once a day every day(hopefully) until mid-Spring:
50 jumping jacks
25 presidential situps
15 bicycle situps
50 squats, while in the shower.
All of that in addition to my school gym class. I'll also be trying to cut back on sweets and soda. Now once the weather starts getting nice, I'm going to add 10 to 15 minutes of jogging onto that every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
My overall goal is to be around 200 pounds by the end of this year. I actually don't want to lose a whole lot of weight, becuase I actually like being 'larger,' just not this large.
So do you guys think I can accomplish my goal if I stick to my plans? Any advice is welcome.
And if anyone wants me to, I'll post pictures if helps you get a better insight. A word of warning: the pics will be off me in just my underwear or a pair of swim briefs. So if you don't want to see that, don't ask.
