Hi everyone! I am very excited to join this community. My name is Sylvia and I live in British Columbia, Canada. I have been stuggling to lose weight for 10 years now. I use to be a bodybuilder and was looking at competing until I sprained my back. On top of the injury I had other stressful experiences and I turned to food as comfort and to "hide" myself. I know what to do but I find my motivations fails me after a week or two. I am married to a wonderful man who can eat whatever he wants and thinks he is supporting me by getting me everything I want and that includes food. He is not a cook so that all falls on me. I work a full-time job, have a contract to teach and am finishing a research project plus I am also a mom. My daughter is turning three this year and I want to be a healthy mom so that she will have a strong female role model to turn to. I currently weigh 250 pounds and my ideal weight would be 170. I am trying to train twice a day for at least 30 minutes a session. I find by breaking up my day it is easier to do than taking a large session late at night. Thank you everyone for reading my story and any support!
Cheers!
Sylvia
