Hey all,
My name is Dan, I'm 19 and from Canada
I've always been a pretty average sized guy. I was never really skinny and never really fat. I've basically always had that "few pounds to lose" look. Anyway, I graduated high school last year and during my years in HS I gained a few lbs, mostly from getting bigger for football. But now that's over with and I'm just looking to cut down and get into great shape.
Currently, I'm 6 feet tall, and 232 lbs. I'm not sure what my BF% is, but I've been weight training for about 4-5 years off and on. Mainly during high school, so I've got a good amount of muscle, but still too much fat around the midsection and whatnot.
Anyway, I try to set short-term goals so I can stay focused easier. So my current goal is to weigh as close to 215 lbs as I can by Jan. 1st/09
I know I may only hit 220 and even that'll take some hard work. But it's good to set the bar a little high so I work hard.
I wanted to join a forum where I could read stories and progress of others and get some motivation to hit the gym on days when Im just not feeling it but when I know I should be working out (you all know what I mean
). So wish me luck
