hopefully i will remain accountable to you all!

i'm a 5mths postpartum mum aged 28 with about 10-15lbs to shed. I'm 5'0 and some in an around 120 which on my frame is a significant amount. I'm carrying it largely in my abdo, arms, inner thighs and chest (I'm breastfeeding as well)

my whole sense of self has drastically changed since this last baby was born and I am finding my discomfort with my body image is effecting me in various ways. i.e. shopping for clothes almost everyday cause it was sooooo hard to get dressed that morning in something i felt good in etc

i prefer to eat healthy but lately am bingeing on carbs. My vice is sweets, particularily Fountain sodas.

I can easily identify triggers, as well as areas for improvement and areas of challenge.

I gotta make this about me here. so i plan on focussing less on the whole 'well i've got kids' aspect and trying to focus on what i need to do for me.

some areas I know I need to immediately address:
eating habits ie the 2 sandwiches I just ate with PB/honey and a drink box of juice, minutes before I head to bed ho hummmmm..
excercise, commited excerise that i enjoy

thanks for having me! prior to registering I read a ton of your posts and I think it seems like a thoughtful community here and I hope that I feel comfy enough to keep on coming back!

It isn't selfish.

Welcome to the forum officially!

It's ok to think of yourself and take care of yourself because the end result is being better capable of enjoying your time with family and friends. When you aren't constantly concerned with how you feel or look to yourself, you will lose sight of those things anyway, so good for you.

In any matter, welcome, and hopefully you find the inspiration you need here in the forum-goers.

Good luck on your journey!
