Good body-fat scale help

So we have decided to purchase a new bathroom scale. The one i have came from england and i think i paid the equivalent of like $20 for it, so its nothing amazing and i swear it has a mind of its own.

I have a budget of about $40 to spend on a new one and id like one that measures body-fat and is as accurate as possible .

Any-one got any links to any? Ive been browsing eBay and found some cool ones but i don't know if all they gizmo high tech talk is necessary.

the scales that measure body fat are inaccurate... don't waste your money on it... it's really not worth the bells and whistles...
 
ohh ok then, i was just curious as to how my % is changing over teh course of my program.

So only the hand-held ones are accurate measures of body fat?
 
okay ill have a look out for one then :)

so which is better a digital scale or one that has the dial thingy. Im just looking for any improvement on my crazy scale
 
I think it all depends on how you like to weigh - I have a digital scale that measure in 10ths of a pound and that absolutely drives me nuts -I always round up to the highest number...

a lotof scales are alsoreally sensitive... keep it in one place on the floor at all times - mark the floor with a piece of tape if you must - my scale moving can change the weight by a few lbs and not always the direction you want...

Also take measurements at frequent intervals -that's a better indication of progress than nmbers on the scale...
