Going to reach my goals this time!

Hello all! As you can see, I am new, and just starting to get familiar with everything. I have poked around this site before, and to be honest, the pictures and stories are very motivating. A little about myself, I am a female, 5'4, 180 lbs. I have dropped about 45 lbs. thus far fairly easily, and am really having to work to drop the last 30. That is why I am here, obviously. I have recently joined a gym, and have reduced my food intake, and have been making healthier food choices. I have been running 3 miles a day to start with minimal weight lifting, although I know that I need to start doing that. I want to lose fat, I am not too concerned with muscle, as I feel that I am ok in that department. It's just all this darn fat that is covering up my ripped body and my six pack!! LOL. Anyways, if anyone has any tips on training and fat loss it would be much appreciated. As I said, the first 45 lbs. came off easily without any exercise at all hardly. But I'm busting my butt 5 days a week and I have seen little change, and it is discouraging. Thank you and I am glad to be a part of this forum!

CONGRATULATIONS on the weight loss and to a new life style change!! :hurray:

There is a lot of useful info here in the stickies, the community is very supportive as well, don't be afraid to ask specific questions about what you need in such places as the "On Topic" sub -forum. ;)
