Thank you!! I will ask my Endo, I am seeing him sometime this month. I am currently taking Synthroid 50mcg daily.

I believe Dr. Teitelbaum mentioned this very medication, and as I posted before, does not address both the T3 and T4. Speak with your doctor and ask to be put on the Natural Armor Thyroid.

He has a great series called Neandrathal No More which targets posture issues. I realize that you have scoliosis, so I would prob even send him an email telling him this and see what he recommends for exercise selection.

Let me (us) know how your PT sets you up on your program because I'd hate for you to get one that has you doing stupid "functional" movements on the bosu ball like 1 legged balance squats and stupid stuff like that.

I'm going to ask him about Armour, I have heard of it... but my T3 and T4 levels were normal, just my TSH was slightly elevated. I was actually on the border where they probably wouldn't treat it, but I was so symptomatic. I feel 100x better on Synthroid.

I am wondering if it's not just my metabolism since my hypothyroidism has been corrected for about 4-5 mos now...and maybe it's also that my birth control pills increase my appetite, and my food choices were not the greatest. I literally lived off fast food. Sometimes twice a day. Maybe it just caught up with me. I will continue with my diet and exercise and see if the fat weight comes off. If it becomes harder than it should be, maybe I will know that there are more endocrine problems that need to be addressed.

Thank you for the link on posture, I will check it out!

That little bit of fat that you have gained will come off in no time with proper diet, weight training, and cardio.

Best of luck to you!

:)
