going nowhere..need help!

OK, basically I have joined different gyms over the years and haven't been able to stick at it, however now, I'm determined to stick at it!!!

I am 19, 6ft 2", weigh around 235lbs (17stone or 108kg)

Here are my goals:

1. Lose fat - Stomach, waist, thighs, chest & back!
2. Correct posture!
3. Tone up - Legs, arms, chest & abs!
4. Maintain healthy diet and maintain a toned look! (not looking to bulk up just yet)

I am trying to focus myself first on a healthy diet, with a high intake of protein and low intake of carbs & fat!!
Every-time I walk into a shop or supermarket, any item of food I pick up I read the nutritional info, becoming obsessed to be honest, but that's a good thing!

I'm eating different types of fish, chicken, fruit, veg...But they are not enough, what other foods can I incorporate into my diet?? I don't want a diet that is based around the same foods, as I will soon get sick of it!

Now to the workout - I have recently visited some1s thread that I found, that has a good workout routine and diet routine on it, however, stupid idiot I am I forgot to bookmark it!

What I need from YOU!!

1. A list of foods that will help me on my way!
2. A good workout plan, cardio and weights!
3. Advise on how to stay motivated!
4. YOUR thoughts on my pictures and what I need to do to improve posture, weight loss and muscle definition!

I have a poor posture which is visible..My stomach sticks out further with posture relaxed but when I correct it, it doesn't stick out as much!
I have a stomach largely based on fat, fat arms & chest!
When in the gym working on abdominal muscles I do have some back pain!

Foods :
Tuna, Chicken, Wholewheat pasta, wholemeal bread, turkey, veg, fruit, peanut butter, stuff like that.
Dont go too hard on your cardio though because you dont wanna end up with loads of loose skin.

You could do light interval training an lift heavy weights, low reps. This will help you lose the weight and tone up / get leaner. Also dont eat no carbs after 7pm, make sure it's protien or good fats you eat, good fats like cheese or peanut butter.

Since your not working those carbs of whilst your asleep they could store fat.
Also drink plenty of water, atleast about 12 glasses a day.

The interval training you can do either light, so 30 minutes - 1 hour on the treadmill at 3.5 mph or you could do other light interval training like, 60 second walk, 30 second jog, 60 second walk, 30 second sprint, and keep it like that for 30 mins a day..

Or you could do high intense interval training (HIIT) this is a good workout that you only need to do for 10 mins - 20 mins a day. Look up some videos on youtube, this is brill for burning bodyfat.

if you goto you can get a free dvd, you dont need to pay anything, p&p is free it's all free and theres some good workouts on that.

- try the ski steps....

Also make sure your eating enough calories or your body wont be getting the nutrients it needs...

Okay dude did you find any help yet ?

I am willing to help you..

Just reply to this post if your still alive

I read you want to shape up.
Don´t get to complicated.
Start running or some thing like this, 2-3 times a week. Start wery slow and change between running and walking.
Eat healthy food, forget about Cola, chips, beers, sweet stuff. Eat potatoes, pasta, chicken, meat and lot of vedgetables - And drink a lot of water.
Maybe start at home, doing some push ups, situps, and good exercises for the lower back, that are not heavy but can be done on the floor.
If you go to gym, go there to work out, go there be ready to do some swetting, be there for less than and hour and walk out again.
Start reading books or magazines about healthy living, and become the person you want to.
See your self every night and day, becomming the person and body you want to.
And - Stick with this with a smile - Get it in to your dayli routine.
You are on the way.
Best Regards
Michael
