Thats differnt and maybe thats the problem with cranberry at my families house it always comes from the can in the cylinder blob lol your way sounds pretty good TY!

Evidentally this is a holiday fave for many people, I've personally never tried it but I intend to. I'm thinking some jalapenos would make this pretty tasty. People call this pudding so I'm curious to try it because it looks like cornbread to me.

Corn Pudding

1 (8 ounce) package Jiffy corn muffin mix, dry
2 eggs
2 (8 ounce) cans corn, 1 can drained
1 (15 ounce) can creamed corn
8 ounces FF sour cream
2 tablespoons butter

Mix all ingredients.

Grease 9x13-inch pan and pour in batter.

Dot with butter; bake at 350F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Cut in squares and serve.

oh man.. I can't stand the canned gelly stuff that they call cranberries...

best way that I have found (& pleases most people) is to make cranberry relish. Get a bag (lb I think) of fresh cranberries, an orange about the size of your fist & a cup of sugar. Toss the berries & orange all in the food processor (take the seeds out of the orange & some of the peel, leave some). I have a mini processor so I toss in a lil, chop that up, dump it in the bowl, & chop some more berries & orange. The orange juice makes the berry pieces come out easy so try to get some orange in each batch. After the berries & orange are all chopped, put the cup of sugar in & stir it up so it gets all mixed in. Let it sit over night to marry all the flavors. mmmmm

I love the sweet & tart taste of it. Its almost like candy. mmm

That recipe might be on a bag somewhere, but thats the one my grandmother taught me to make & its easy peasy. Plus I love that you can make it the night before, really NEED to, so its yet another thing to get out of the way.

what's also good - and a little different is cranberry salsa - basaically take your favorite salsa recipe -and substitute the cranberries for tomatoes, and oranje juice for lime juice -and as much heat as you like... the jellied stuff is disgusting :)

We add some mozzerala cheese inside and then a little bit on top about 30 minutes before its done baking and make it in a smaller casserole type dish and call it Corn Casserole. Very very unhealthy but I look forward to it since we only eat it on Thanksgiving.

I am going to try and suprise my mom and make her bread pudding lol wish me luck.:cheers2:
