Hey there fellow mothers :waving:

I just wanted to share a small story with you. I am a proud mother of one beautiful girl;however, bearing her came with a price - a lot of fat gain!

I was also struck with a small bit of postpartum depression - this didn't make things any easier.

After debating with myself for a long time, I finally took the plunge. I began to slowly change my eating habits, ramp up physical exercise, and spending more time outdoors. I also took a few good supplements that helped as well

I am attaching a picture of my progress  don't mind the first one, it is pretty embarrassing! But, we live and we learn don't we :)

Stay strong ladies and if you have any questions just ask!

Good for you for taking the plunge. Excellent :)

I hope you won't take this the wrong way... but you really don't have a lot to complain about LOL. The first picture may seem embarassing to you, and I udnerstand but I'm in about 10X worse shape. Picture an onion...... ya... that'd be me. Along wtih loose skin that I'll probably need surgery to correct, hair falling out... the works. I have PPD still...... it's been 13 months. I'm miserable but working on it. I gained 80 lbs during the pregnancy and wound up with a c section. I'm glad that you (hopefully) didn't have to go through all of that.

I admire your bravery to post photos.... I certainly can't. I have all of the mirrors covered in the house. I refuse to shop for clothes.... I wear mens XXL clothes on purpose. I'll stop there.

I hope that you will be back in shape in no time! You certainly are making some great progress :). TY for posting too -- gives the rest of us some serious encouragement.

Cheers,
bluemomma

You look really great! Thanks for posting the pictures. It really helps knowing that there are people out there who have had a child (children) who had to work hard and now look awesome. If other people can do it, it must not be impossible.:)
