Today is my first day on this thing. Bought a treadmill a couple of months ago after losing nearly 30 lbs at the gym, sure that it was my answer to everything. It was so hard to find the time to get to the gym, hard to coordinate child care and everything. But honestly, since the TM has been here in my house, so convenient, I've slacked off and put some weight back on. The eating has been not so good, to say the least.

There is this strange thing I do. I'm not the one who gets frustrated when they don't see immediate results and gives up. I'm the weirdo who quits when things get good. If I get results and things are looking up, that's the time i sabotage. Not just with weight loss, but school, relationships, jobs... anything that starts going well, and there's an actual chance for succes... I do my best to blow it. I don't know why. It's like I don't want to really be happy/healthy.

So today I did 4.5 miles on the treadmill, on 3% incline. Was good. Feeling like I'm getting back into the swing of things, and not like its such a chore. Have a lot of personal crap going on (men... ick) that I'm trying to not let get my head all messed up, and get me off track. Today was good. Food was on track. Water good. Good day.

thanks so much for all the well wishes... i have to admit, i have been kicking ass and taking names! and feels really great.

took the day off workout wise yesterday. food is on target. feeling really good! gonna take some new pics today.
