Getting rid of the manboobs...

An embarassing reality for overweight men are manboobs- I have em'.

What is the best way for me to lose my boobage? Exercises that focus on my pecs?
I have a pair of 40 pound dumbbells in my apt that get very heavy after curling a number of times- is there any specifdic exerise that can help shrink down embarassing man boobage? many thanks...

I have been thinking about this a little bit... and I think that not only should you focus on your chest, but I think if you work on bulking up you shoulders too, that will help stretch some of that skin out. I would say, yes... focus on your pecs, do push ups, dips, and flys, and any thing else too.
But definitely work on your shoulders too.

I say.... don't focus on your pecs. Focus on losing fat. Do all the pushups, dips, and flys you want but you will not lose your "man boobs" unless you lose fat overall. Simply put, you will not decrease the amount of fat in your chest by doing any type of exercise that focuses on your chest.
 
Unfortunately there is not one exercise that is good for getting rid of man boobs.

The thing with man boobs is that there are two types. The type you get for being over weight and the type you get due to a hormonal imbalance in the body. Basically you would have far too much estrogen in your body, therefore you would start to grow womens bits, if you like.

A lot of men think that it is just down to exercise, and upper body ones, ones that really attack the chest muscles and cardio, which to be fair will help to begin with, but this slowly fails to deal with the stubborn fat, which is when you have to look at rebalancing your hormones as they are all out of whack.

But what are your main frustrations with having man boobs?
 
Need to know that all muscles are connected to each other! so a complete workout would be better! Now there are many pectorals exercises that you can do, also push ups helps
 
It's actually high estrogen levels which causes "man boobs" to develop. Even people on TRT can develop them due to the aromatising (conversion of testosterone to estrogen) of the testosterone.

It is often just fat for men who are overweight. Losing the fat will make the man boobs disappear.
