Getting rid of old fat

Hi.

Thanks to my mother's parenting, I was really fat most of my life. I was 110 kilos fat when I was 18. When I left home, I decided that I didn't like this and decided to lose some weight. Now, thanks to cycling, swimming, and proper eating (nothing hectic, just reasonable meals, and I still enjoy the occasional pizza once a week or two), I'm 75 kilos. All this happened in almost two years. Now I'm continuing my lifestyle for a third year, but I haven't seen any further effects in the last year. I am not unhappy about how I look when clothed, but I have all this old residual fat hanging from my thighs, belly, and some breasts, so it looks pretty miserable when I get naked. Can I get rid of this through diet/exercise? I heard that fat cells die after a few years and can't be burned. Some guy also suggested that I work out in a gym to sculpt that into muscle, but I think would look ridiculous then. Is liposuction all that's left to me?

Some stats: I'm male, 23, 75 kilos, 180cm
