Getting on track

i am above 6 feet and weigh 179...... i am 22 years old but i havent went to th3 gym a lot the past few months and have literally no tone left in my body.........i am not fat, but am really soft as a girl once told me..... i am not bulging with fat and dont gain weight easily but i am taking steps to cut down on the beer and eating less fast food..... what is a good full body routine for me?
 
Well as a beginner you have to start out slowly,

i would recommend light / medium weights 8 - 12 reps depending on how easy you find the weight.

before you even go into the gym you need to set your mind straight as its more of a mental challenge than a pysical one.

i recommend working the whole body at once which would work alot better than a couple muscles a day (i find anyway)

to help set up your routine i just wanna know what your goal is in the gym?
