So I'm in the second week of my diet, and one of the things I've been doing is reducing my portion sizes. This is really necessary for me because one of my tendencies is to eat past full and stretch out my stomach, which lets me eat more and... well, you can see the cycle.
Anyway, the first week is hard because I feel hungry just because I'm not getting that full "feeling" since I'm used to such large portion sizes. So today I had two meals where I felt full way sooner than the last time I had those meals. I ate 1/2 of the sandwich instead of the whole thing, and another time I got the "small" portion of a burrito I normally mow at "regular" and was satisfied. Also, I didn't get cheese, sour cream, or guac in the 'rito - which is HUGE for me.
I think that's a great thing! Yay!
