getting back to slimville

hey guys oki, so i thought id do a diary to help me keep track of my weight loss coz it can be a lil hit and miss at times.

im 5ft4.5 and i weight 10st7

i want to get done to about 8st

however the twist being my body fat is only 17% which is supposed to be pretty good right?

i have abit of a belyl that i want to get rid of but im fairly toned ect i do an hour in the gym atleast 6 days a week and most of that is cardio like running spinning cross trainer with a few toning exercises included.

eating wise its christmas i ve maybe been slackin abit but i am eating under 1500 calories a day

i aim for round 1000

i noticed since i changed my conroception pill i have put weight on which sucks.

i will update al on my day when its over tonight.

please feel free to give me tips i need to get rid of this podge :)

Welcome to the forum bexxx!

There are many great motivators on here. I must admit I'm not up my the "stone" weight measure, but it doesn't matter...we're all here to lose weight! The good news is, you are already in pretty good shape from the sound of it with your exercise routine, so adding abetter eating diet is probably the key to losing that "podge".

okay sooo day one :D( not classsing the weekend coz i ate really healthy however drank lots at parties (need to stop this))

so day one

today i ve eaten

breakfast small pack of fruit 84 calories and two slices of wholegrain toast 142 claories

lunch 3 medium eggs scrabmled and 3 spoons of spagetti sauce and a banana unsure of calories proabably around the 250 mark doesnt really matter im trying not to calorie coutn everything

dinner time will be a portein shake after my work out 209 calories

then ill probably have a cheeky hot choclate infront of the fire which is 50 calories

roughly 800 calories today

have been in work with horses all morning sweeping up ect this afternoon i am going back to the gym for an hours cardio and then another hour at work

so ive been pretty active theses cold winter nghts are making me crave carbs which i really dont need

very excited to start seeing resluits after christmas! xxx
 
frustrated today my back is killing me and i couldnt exercise apart from stables with horses

also i have ate tooo much

bfast was 2 slices of toast and an apple about 190 calories

lunch weight watcher meal and cereal about 280 calories

snacked on 15 mini chicken bites was 300 calories and its not even dinner time yet

*sighs*

feeling today like maybe im supposed to be curvy

oki soo feelin frustracted today loooked back at old picas ive put on half a stone since them,

i ve bought some pills to aid my weight loss and dragged my carcass to the gym

bfast was a slim fast shakes 230 cals with a banana and a hanful of grapes

i had a small hot choc 38 cals

lunch is a protein drink 201 calories

dinner is a weight watcher meal 2.4 g fat and 239 calories

did do much in gym as im really sor and flue i did 30mins cardio(mix of running cross train and spinning) and then just 10mins of toning exercises with light weights

i miss the days i could spend 3 or 4 hours in the gym im so unfit and fat now :( xxx
 
Hello Bexxx,

Sounds like to me, you probably need to stop walking down memory lane right now and focus on today! You might be trying to "over do it" at the gym at the beginning...so be content to do something as simple as walking for 30 minutes at a low impact resistance for a week (and let your body get used to that), then add 5 minutes at the same resistance for another week and get used to that etc...work your way up to higher resistance and time! If you work out and make yourself sore, you might give up before you start seeing the results...and that would really be a pity!

Rather than snack on the chicken mcnuggets, you might consider putting some fruit in a bag and snacking on that...much better for you all the way around. I"ve found that the average fast food is crammed full of carbs and sodium and just makes me want to eat more, more more! I've found it's just better to stay away from it all together right now.

Bottom line, don't be too hard on yourself...you've made a great decision to change...now give yourself some time to change...it won't happen over night (really wish it would...I've been at it for 6 months...can't say it ever gets "easy", but I can say, I've gotten used to my lifestyle change and certainly pleased with the results...even though I have another 50+ pounds to go...I'm not giving up now!

thanks sarah deffo going to doing some low impact :D and keeping away from those bad carbs i usually only have wholemeal but i lvoe food so if somethings nice ill eat it i tend to snack instead of eating actualy meals.

started snowing today ive been in work all morning and im frozen had a protein shake for breakfast and another for lunch so that 518 calories plus a handful of grape about 60 calories

off to the gym soon and then back to work again *sighs*

for dinner i cant decided probably have a slim fast

im soo sick of becoming fat ive become obsessed with what i eat

never will i eat over 1200 calories if im gonig for a meal i will starve all day and pick something healthy and my stomach cant take a meal

all my family are starting to nag me for not eating enough but when i do (this past week) the weight just come back on staright away i look bloated and fat and feel horrid :(

but yeah today is going well so far another week and the bikini is gonig back on xxx
