Getting back on track

Hi, I'm new. I turned 30 this year and even tho I watch my diet and go to the gym, I am still overweight according to BMI chart. I had gone up to 190 in my early 20's (I'm 5'6") and then dieted down to a healthier 160, stayed there for a while, got prego, and then ended up 170...at the moment I am at 175 :( I got back down to 160 a couple times since then, but it has not lasted...my ultimate goal being 135 (is it even possible??)

Anyway, I am off to the gym again... I have been thinking about getting some personal trainer service, but it is pricey and I am kindof afraid of what they may do to me (I have had a couple personal training sessions in the past...yikes)

Time to push myself harder, I suppose?

Hello and welcome! I am 5'6 also with a goal of 135! I know what you mean by saying is it even possible because I have never gotten that low either and often wonder that same thing. I am currently 150 but have worked hard to get there and this is the lowest I can ever remember being. Good luck on your journey. If you want to check out my journal in the weight loss diary section it's called "Here comes the bride - only 6 months to go!" - there are only actually 4 months left now so it's time to step it up!! Hope to see you around!

Thanks for the response :) Yea, I am hoping I can stick with it this time...it def doesn't hurt to have a goal to work towards. Congrats on yr success so far... your wedding pics will look good!
