Well, if you haven't switched to yet, this will give you a good reason to. Firefox has a neat little feature called "Live Bookmarks". It's simply a bookmark like any other except that it is "live".

This bookmark will receive a "feed" from the forum and always be up-to-date with the latest posts. Once you have downloaded and installed (and deleted all shortcuts to Internet Explorer - because you won't want to use it anymore - lack of security, it's Microsoft, etc, etc) you will see a little icon as seen below... when you click on it, you just save it like you would any other bookmark ... and voila ... anytime you click on that bookmark, it'll give you a list of the newest threads and you can go directly to it ... no more need to click on "newest posts" anymore.

does anybody know if we can do this in chrome too?

Hi AllCdnBoy have you thought about implementing TapaTalk? it is a simple install on Vbulletin and makes navigation for mobile users very simple. I implemented it on a forum with almost 10,000 members and traffic volume in the 5-6GB per day and it had little or no impact on server performance and my members love it. Its free for the server side component too. Might be worth looking in to.

looks good, just tried it there. You should make an announcement on it if you havent already you would be surprised how many people might access the forums from their mobile devices when it is so easy and well presented.

it is a nice post, thanks for sharing it..
