Hello everyone!
My names Anna and I live in Australia. I joined this site because my weight is the only thing holding me back!
I hope to pursue a career in theatre/art/music/fashion and despite my apparant self confidence i've allways had that little voice that says "You can't do that Anna, you'll look like the silly fat girl." And yes to be honest, with so many talented people out there you have to be the full package to make it any where, this unfortunetly is today society includes body image. And boy am I determind to be!
at the moment i'm 92kg and 5,4 i've never been anything other than chubby as most of my hobbies have been the less active kind. And this never bothered me really until I started auditioning for plays and I would get feedback about how I could act the part perfectly but did not look "right". SO I hope to reach 69kg however my all time goal would be 65kg. I've joined a gym and after the first week of eating healthier and going to the gym four times a week i've lost 3kg! I haven't done enough research to know if this is good or not (maybe you can help?) but i'm happy! at this rate i'll be my goal weight at a music/art festival i'm attending in Summer.
The great thing being I actually ENJOY the gym, I feel so good about myself after and it's a great time to reflect on things. Thanks for reading! and I look forward to getting to know you all :)
