Hi!
My name is Ganymede and I am trying to loose just 15 pounds. I was originally 180 about two years ago and I have this little last that I need to loose and I also want to learn new exercises and ways to make healthy meals.
I thought joining a forum would help because there are many who know tons of different and new ways to lose weight.
Some facts about me.
First off. I'm a vegan. Which means I do not eat any animal products and avoid using them as well. I enjoy being vegan and I don't care if someone talks about eating a bacon cheeseburger infront of me or says how much they like fur. I'll probably talk about tofu and nutritional yeast and how much I love lentil loaf. I won't poke people into being a vegan as long as they don't poke me to eat animals. There. I got it out. *sighs with relief and smiles*
Second. I love to dance. Para Para being my favorite and I would love to send people links if they want to take a try at the routines. They are great to exercise to and fun to learn. Other things I do to get exercise. I walk.. just to the corner coffee shop for some tea and maybe a soy latte. But still. its walking! Also, I hula hoop with my twin and we even have a "skip it". Staying young is playing young. Yah know?
Third.. I am teaching myself japanese! If you know japanese.. PM me! I'd love to try and actually hold a conversation. The best I can do is just basic "How are you?" "What are you doing?" and saying numbers! I want to be fluent by the time I am 25. I have 4 years then!
Ah. Fourthly? I am a Harry Potter fan and I enjoy reading all sorts of books. Any recommendations? I reccomend the Eddings books. The Belgariad being my favorite set. I love cook books as well. I need to get me a copy of the Uncheese cookbook. I hear its amazing.
and I am stopping with the number stuff. Let's just list with dashes eh?
- I want to lose 15 lbs
- I like to sing
- I am teaching myself japanese
- I walk, dance and hula hoop for exersice
- I am a vegan who likes to cook food
- I like to read
That sort of is a summary.
Thanks!
