Gaining weight?????

Ok, im pretty confused... ive been cutting for sometime now, this past sunday i recorded my weight at 168.9. Then, wed morning it said 171, and this morning it said the same... i dont understand how ive gained weight in the last 3 days since weighing in at 168.9. My diet is clean, im pretty anal about it... i eat 2100-2200cals per day... Any reason why my body would gain those 2-3lbs after it was so steadily coming off? I am on a caloric defecit and i do cardio 2-3x a week.. weight train 4x a week... please help
 
Haven't you just started an aggressive strength training program? It is not physically possible for you to have gained fat, changes are you may have gained a tad bit of muscle and or are storing more glycogen for those muscles and some water.

You need to stop worrying so much about the scale, know what doesn't help fat loss? Stress.
 
I know i worry to much about all this, but im sorry if im obsessive... i know its not a good thing but i guess im just so sick of seeing fat. I started the strength training 5x5 going heavy weight on Monday of this week, today was the fourth session of the week doing the compound exercises and using heavy weight. My were just now starting to feel better from tuesdays workout.. just in time for my 2nd leg workout of the week. Is it possible to build muscle in 1 week like that? I was under the assumption i would not be putting on any muscle at all in my caloric defecit.
