Sport Gaining weight

I'd like to gain weight, it's very difficult for me because of my high metabolism. I'm working out every 2 days and taking 3 protein shakes a day, but without fat I really can't gain much muscle, which is my ultimate goal.

I burn off anything I eat. Last summer I had fast food 2-3 times a day for a month and didn't gain a pound. I've been talking to my friends about it and they're saying to just eat everything regardless of the nutrition and also keep taking protein.

Is there a good weight gaining diet? Or are there some kind of pills maybe that slow down metabolism? What do you recommend?

I could give all kinds of advice but truly take a few bucks and buy this book.
It is well worth the money.
 
Thanks I'll check that book out. I have another question. People are telling me to just eat everything I can, even fast food, infact they encouraged that because it has a lot of fat. Is this a good idea? What's the quickest way to gain weight basically is what I need to know.
 
No, that would be a very bad idea actually. theleip is 100% dead-on - pick up Scrawny to Brawny. It's a great book for bulking up and the quickest way to gain the weight you want as well. Paired with some training knowledge and you'll be on the right track bro.
