Gained 4lbs.

I have been working out for 2 months now and at first I dropped 2 lbs now I’m up 2 lbs. What is going on? This is very discouraging. It makes me want to starve myself and quit going to the gym!!:(

It's probably muscle, I wouldn't stress it, don't stop anything, just make sure your routine, eating and rest is all done properly. It's not like your a big girl anyway, only 127pounds, your body is probably getting more toned.

dont go into the trap of just looking at the scale, look at your BODY ;)
ive gained like 3-5kg's since i started working out, but im not seeing any fat ;)

Your body is building and adapting to the changes you are throwing at it. Keep up your routine and make sure you are sticking to the goals you want. If you put on some muscle that is a positive thing as it will help you burn more calories as you continue on your way.

Keep it up!!

discouraged PLEASE HELP!!

i feel like im getting bulky through my legs and i think my butt is getting biger. The main thing i work out is my legs b/c they are what needs it the most. Like my hamstrings and butt. I only do squats and I do hamstring curls and sometimes pilates. Most of my workouts are 30 to 40 min. in cardio (10 min on stair climber & 30 - 20 on treadmile switching up running and walking hitt)

Try to do an overall body workout with free weights. I always tell people to throw in lunges into the mix, they are awesome for lower body, and keep up with the squats they are #1. Your quads are big muscles and need to be worked so dont neglect them.

If you keep a solid workout routine going free weights and cardio you are set on that end. Just make sure your diet is in the right numbers for your goals.

What are you eating? Calories, protient, carbs, fat etc?

Rule #1 - get your diet in check.

This means everything from the grams of protien and fat to eating 6 times a day. Drink lots of water, take a multivitamin, etc.

Exercise is great, and on its own will make some difference, but to truely mold ourselves into our goals, it start with the diet. This doesn't mean eatting salads all day, your body needs the right amounts of protien, fat and carbs, while keeping your calories in check with how many calories you are spending.

If you layout in more detail what you are eatting maybe we can give some insight on some improvements that can be made. Also a detailed list of your workout routines (the exercises / reps / etc) can help people make some great suggestions.

A workout routine is ever evolving and adapting to our own personal needs, and outside input can often take us in the right direciton.

today i have had a fruit and yogurt parfiet.
serving of harvest wheat thins w/ easy cheese.
lunch whole wheat bread w/ turkey and cheese and mustard.
slimfast snack bar

as yourself if, forgetting scales and numbers, you feel healthy.

weight can fluctuate so much, and lower weight does not make you look or feel better.

just keep healthy, exercise and eat well and your body will naturally get to where it should be.
