Gained 2 pounds over night!

Yesterday i finally started geting the amount of calories i should be geting, Ive been only eating like 1500 - 2000 calories but yesterday i ate 6 meals figuring out to 2668 calories about 75 grams of fat and 11 or so of saturated fat. Yesterday when i weighed myself i was 226.5 now im 228.5! I dont know if i ate to much or what. Heres what i ate yesterday:

2 Tuna Sandwhich's
5 Breaded chicken tenders (Didnt look that bad only a few grams of fat and calories and like 3 grams of saturated fat)
3 Protein Shakes
1 Peanut butter sandwhich with a banana in it (Peanut butter might have had trans fat in it but i got the natural today)
3 bananas
2 apples
half a cup of tommato soup
Subway club sandwhich with light mayo and the lowest fat cheese they have with veggies
Alot of water and i think thats all, I listed them in no particular order im not sure when i ate each but i didnt have any of them all togather like i didnt have 2 tuna sandwhichs at the same time. I also did 1 hour on the elliptical machine after my first meal and drank a protein shake afterwords. Didnt lift any weights yesterday.
 
Your deficite calories should be 3-500 or 20-30% daily, if you want to lose fat.
Take your casting once a week only and don't panick if you weight more in some of the days. 1-2 kg variation is possible within the same day, depending on various factors.
 
To find out your daily calories need, keep a diary for 7 days and write there everything you eat, quantity and total calories. After that, calculate the average, the amount resulted is your daily calories intake need. Or, you can go to and check your metabolic rate.
Then, if you wish to lose fat, you should eat about 3-500 calories less calories than your daily normal intake. For example, if your daily intake is 2500 calories, you could eat 2.000 . Not less, because you will decrease your metabolic rate and burn less calories = fat.
 
Nevermind it says to maintain my weight to eat 2917 but im way over weight should be like 170 or less so i guess the 1914 sounds right. Thanks for the help :)
 
To calculate it, take your Total Calorie Burn (TCB) - 500 = your calories intake to lose fat.
If you should be having 1914, your TCB should be 2414. Is that correct?
 
Your probably wondering why i only burn that many, Well im really lazy LOL if i didnt use the eliptical i wouldnt burn hardly any.

Ok i didnt add all that up right i found a diffrent counter that had alot of other stuff so im burning 2038 cal without the elliptical and 2738 with the eliptical so days im not on the elliptical i should only eat 1538 and when i am on it 2238. Cool thanks :D
 
How much water did you drink yesterday? My bet is that its water weight. I went to TGIFridays last night and ate a big dinner, drank hardly any water. I showed a 4 lb gain overnight. Mine is mostly water weight Im sure.
 
I havent been measuring it but i havent been drinking very much i need to drink more, I think i drank the most i ever did yesterday could that be why?
 
I drink a gallon a day. That may seem excessive to some, but unless I have a TON of sodium and no water (like yesterday) I don't seem to carry any water weight. Keeping yourself hydrated during the day will give you a very accurate weight measure the next morning. (Weight can still fluctuate, don't believe your scale) Urine should be very light yellow to clear and very very plentiful if your well hydrated. (unless color is changed by suppliments)
 
Thanks allen, I always lose track of it cause i just drink glass's of water. I guess i need to go get me a gallon jug of water and just refill it every time.
