gain weight with safe supplements?

Hello,

You always hear and read of "how to lose weight" on tv and the internet. Hoever, I am interested in gaining weight (HE WANTS TO WHAT?! ). I am 18, male.

I eat healthy everyday, lift every other day, and make sure I get my daily intake of protein. But, are there any supplements available at like CVS, Eckerd, Walgreens, GMC, etc (in store) to help me gain weight a little faster?
They have websites, but I am not sure what to purchase.

Something safe, I don't want to buy anything off the internet! And im not looking to be huge or super muscular.

Please assist if you are able to.

Thank You,
Erik

Gaining weight (healthily) is more difficult that losing weight. The way to be huge and super muscular is years of intense training and eating alot. Supplement with some protein powder and follow a solid weight training program. You can pack on some lbs that way.

Thanks aevans410,

but I'm not looking to get super gude or muscular, I just want to gain about 20 - 30 lbs. I know this may take a while, but I was just wondering if there were any supplements, such as tablets, or anything else to help me do that.

I follow a weight training program every other day -- which I read is better to do.

Your not gonna get super huge, you have to eat alot, I mean ALOT to get big, it also takes years. WIth a moderate training schedule and a good diet (lots and lots of protein) you can gain some muscle, not enough to be enormous, but enough to notice. Im not too knowledgeable on bodybuilding supplements though. Whey protein works though.

i know exactly where you're coming from. i use to weight 125lbs at 5% bodyfat with 12" arms and 10" calves. it took me three years but i eventually got up to 180lbs at 10% bodyfat with 15" arms and calves.

then it took three years for me to lose all those gains. if you would please take a moment of silence for my loss.

a multi-vitamin, EFA's, creatine, and you have protein powders. thats the only thing that will be effective. there are a 10,000 other things but nothing significant or safe for an inexperienced person. I mean there are other things that will work better, but it's not safe for inexperienced people.

uhh.. is anyone else seeing what im seeing? is that HGH @ cvs? it looks like what andro was to testosterone, this is to HGH..

wow, i never saw that before

i remember reading that stuff like this does have HGH in it. but its diluted so much its like one teaspoon of HGH into a swimming pool.

i wouldnt spend the money on this. hard training and solid food will do more for you ;)

Is this safe if taken once a day? (Im pretty sure it is cause its being sold at CVS, but I would like your opinion)
I am only purchasing this if it does not harm my body. Also, would there be a minimum weight restriction on these capsules - would u have to be over a certain weight to use them?

Ive been working out for 10 weeks today, and I only gained 1.5 pounds. I've eaten a lot more food than i use to do before (healthy food, protein, etc...), and I lift every other day. 1.5 pounds for 10 weeks just doesn't sound right. I was told that if I follow that routine, I would be gaining about 1 - 2 pounds a week which I was ok with.

Oh, and thank you for helping me out -
