Funny question for any of you big losers ?

Now don't rip me too hard ;)
I know this might sound stupid.... Unless maybe you have experienced the same thing too....

Okay, so I use to wear size 40's (that were waaay too tight, and cutting into me... I really needed 42's)

Now I'm wearing 36"..... but they are so loose, only my belt holds them up. I really need some 34"s. Maybe this week..... {geez, I sure have been buying a lot of new pants in the last year ! ;)}

But here's the point.....
I've always wore a 32" inseam. However, it seems like my pants are riding higher now.... or something ? As I am constantly having to bend down and pull my pant legs over the top of my shoes ? (at least I can bend down to do this now ;))

Have any of you big losers had to change your inseam size too ? Longer now ?

This is just not anything I would have ever expected.

Hmmmm.

I kind of need to know what to do soon, as like I said, I REALLY need some new snugger pants ASAP,
Peace,
Fish

Nobody ?

My buddy and I were talking about it last evening, and his theory was that maybe now I'm wearing (able to wear) my pants up a little higher, instead of my pants wanting to slide down to a narrower spot..... or should I say, not having a fat gut "pushing" them down anymore :)

Anyway, I'm going to buy a pair of size 34's today, for the test :) Hey, and I think inseams go by 1" increments ? So I'll try for 1" longer, too.

Peace,
Fish

Well hey, I bought a trial pair of 34"s yesterday.... and they fit me great ! Whooo Hooo :)

As far as the inseam goes, I still think I would have preffered an inch longer.... but I was mistaken... they do not have 1" increments for the inseams.

They do, however, have 1" increments for waist sizes, below 34"s.... But I don't know if that will ever help me, as 1) I can't imagine my 34"s ever getting so loose they are falling off of me, without my becoming anorexic, and 2) at this point (and I remember this in my young workout days too) my pants are actually starting to get snug on my thighs, especially after a ride, or climb. So, in a worst case scenario, I might have to still buy 34"s to fit my thighs, and have the waist taken in a bit.... Or maybe just start buying a different style / cut of jeans.

But what the hey..... If finding the right pants to fit buffed out thighs and a skinny waist are my biggest problem, I guess that's not such a bad problem to have, huh ? ;)

Peace,
Fish

I didn't notice the inseam changing but I dropped through waist sizes faster than I expected. I suppose jeans fit more like they are designed to when you're in 32's rather than 38's/40's+

Hey Iane
I suppose jeans fit more like they are designed to when you're in 32's rather than 38's/40's+

You ain't kidding ! I swear, 9 months ago, I don't care what freaking size pants I wore, nothing fit well. I was constantly pulling up my size 40's (needed 42's) and my gut was constantly pushing them back down !
How in the heck did I put up with that misery, for as long as I did !?!?

That's exactly what it must be. They'll only pull up a certai amount so you needed shorter jeans. Now they'll pull up like they're supposed to you need an inch longer.

Plus, thinner, you look taller do to the width to height ratio.

I wear the $8 Wal-Mart jeans for work and their 32's fit like Levi 34's. You might want an $8 'test pair' in 32's just to see. I'm tempted to get a pair of their 30's -just to see how they fit.

My wife told me, to button/zip up my jeans and see if I can wiggle them down without undoing them. She says if I can do that then I need a smaller size. Try that, I think it's true.
