hello everyone,
well i joined fitday.com....and i have been adding everything i eat ...and drink but i still dont quite understand it well because i treadmill for 45 uphill 15 at good speed and when i enter it it tell me i only burned 200 cals?????????? impossible my machine tells me 600 so it does not give a great reading of my activities all day and for example today i have eaten 950 cals compared to someone who never ate breakfast or lunch befor im eatin quite a bit now but still canoot always eat what im supossed to.....and still not loosing anu weight my gosh i even tried hiit today but could not complete the whole thing i will try everyday to get better at it ................so guys why can i not loose weight??? my clothes are still tigth no improvement .....do not know what else to do ???????????????????????? ADVICE PLEASE ,SUPPORT.....

Height/age/weight
How long have you been trying to lose weight and how much are you trying to lose?

what exactly is "a good speed'?

What is your current food plan like? are you serious that you're only eating 950 calories a day?

have you read the stickied threads in the forum?
 
first and formost thankyou for taking the time .....
well the speed i exercise at is 3.5 for 5 minutes ,38 for 5 minutes 4.1 for 35 minutes .....today i only could 950 but on average inm eatin about 1380 and before i would starve myself thinking that is the way ,well the way i always did itbefore i would eat once a day supper and maybe a snack!!!! now im eating three meals daily and maybe a friut or something but today i fell full i had a steak broiled and brocoli for supper? lunch some home made chicken rice soup,breakfast i slice pumpernickel bread .i slice low fat swiss cheese and one glass 2 percent milk and coffee as far as snack i cheated i had a handful of vegetable chips......9 glasses of water usually 12 but slacked today i was out groceri shopping and two glasses low sodium v-8 ....basically thats a typical day of eating .......iam 39 yrs .5'2 and weigh 128 but used to weigh a year ago 118 -120 max and my clothes to not fit me anymore :cry:so i started to exercise again 2 months ago and it has been about 2 weeks tried to eat healthier meaning eat breakfast lunch and supper i always drink lots of water . i aleways did the low carb diet seemed to work but not anymore?????????? i cannot she a pound im very small framed and 128 is too much for me i do not feel comfortable....
what do you think is there a way you can see fit day .com and tell me what im doing wrong as far for exercise its off.....i burn way more than what it is telling me i also have a family to take care of i clean and cook most of the day so i do not just sit ......do not walk outdoors much its very cold here in quebec and i have circulatory problems ......

IMHO, Fitday counts walking calories too low, but there is no way in heck that a 128-pound person walking 3 miles in 45 minutes, even uphill, burns 600 calories. 300 I might believe, but not 600.

If you're averaging 1380 calories a day, and maintenance for you at a sedentary lifestyle (per ) is about 1,450, you've got a 70-calorie per day deficit. Assuming that you count all of your calories exactly (I figure my "real" calories are 10-15% higher than my Fitday number) and that you exercise off 200 calories a day, that's a 270-calorie per day deficit. Which is a pound every two weeks.

Add a couple pounds of water weight swings to that (I'm pretty steady around 1.5 pounds a week, and going a week or two without significant movement on the scale, due to water retention, is pretty normal), and you need to go at least 6 weeks before you conclude that you're actually not losing weight.
