From stretch marks to swimwear - my journey to feeling comfortable in my own skin

Hi MagentaGirl! I also like the color magenta and my hips/stomach area are now my biggest insecurity, which feels very odd because that used to be the part of my body that I liked the best.

It sounds like you have a good plan and I think that is key to success. Hope you keep writing and let us know how you are doing! There are a lot of nice people here and I think you will find it helpful. :)

Hi there.

Totally understand what you mean about being the 'frumpy one' My fella is tall and slim. We have been together 25 years and he eats what he likes and hasn't changed at all over the years. Also, my best friends are really slim and I hate having to stand with them. I know people say that nobody sees that but in our heads its there.

Looking forward to following you on your journey :)

I've actually lost a bit more then that, we are just doing a 6kg challenge right now and that's my ticker for the challenge. Hope you had a good day.

Hi Magenta Girl & welcome to the forum(a bit belatedly as I was away for the w/e). I like curvy too. I don't want to be skinny or thin. You have picked a good place to find unconditional support. We all have similar aims & mostly it's to be fit & healthy. I started the 6kg challenge as I have 6kg to go. I am being thrashed, but that's OK. I once weighed 26kg more than what I weigh now, but at this weight I am 6kg more than what I want to be. I will never give up.
I look forward to following your progress. If you have a bad day, don't stay away. None of us are perfect & this is a perfect place to share your feelings. We don't judge. Cheers, Cate.

Yay!!! On your weight loss [emoji3][emoji3] and another Yay for the exercise. Go girl [emoji4]

if you got a bit off track at the festival, don't worry about it too much, just get your self back on track now your home.

:iagree: with Tru. Just don't worry about it. Hope you had a ball at the festival & now you're back, it's back on track. Onwards & upwards! (or downwards with the weight :D ) xoC

So does anyone do group exercise classes at the gym? I want to start Bodypump and Bodystep but not sure how effective they are?

Can't help you there sorry as I live in the bush(in Aus). Any exercise I think is good. Healthy eating more so [emoji106]
