hello everyone,
ok i never thought i would ever had to post in any weight loss forum but i guess i hit my rock bottom.
since october i've been destroying myself, i eat mc donalds 4 times a week and i dont do anything besides sitting out and play online poker.
i'm so ashemed of myself that i dont go out with my friends since november...
yeah this is not my first attempt to change my life, but i hope that if i post here i could give myself motivation to keep going and do it for real this time.
about myself, i'm 22 years and my normal weight is 176 pounds... so i gained 60 pounds since october, so sick.
my goal is to lose all the extra weight from 17-05 until 20-06, pretty sick but i can do it if...

here's a picture of myself last summer:

here's a picture of myself now:

(will upload in one hour)

i'm going to use this as my "blog" if that's ok.
anyone think this is some kind of impossible mission?
thanks guys, grind in mind.

Am I reading this right? You're planning to lose 60 lbs in 34 days? I don't think it's possible and I'm certain any attempt is not healthy. It's very good of you to realize that you need to get your eating and lack of exercise in check before you really let things get out of hand, but it took you 8 months to put on the weight... expect it to take at least 6 to take it off.

well last summer i lost 40 pounds in two weeks without doing much exercise. i know it's not healthy but cant be worst that what i'm doing right now...
sorry about my poor english btw.

sigh

Excuse me, but this sounds stupid as hell. Not even mentioning the impossibility of the goal, but thinking that "this can't be be worst that what you're doing right now" is just funny. yes, it is pretty unhealthy.

Either your mental state is of much concern right now or you are setting us up for a hoax. If the former, I think you are setting yourself up for bad things, the least of which is failure to reach the number. If the latter, then why don't you post a current photo of yourself holding a current newspaper and continue to do so throughout your attempt.

If this is real then I would certainly like to convince you to change your way of thinking first. I will need some convincing of my own first. Hold up a newpaper and take a photo, then post it.

BTW, it has been more than an hour, and that photo of two feet on a scale with a hand written note isn't going to cut it.

hey everyone, it's been two days since my first post and i had some issues that didnt allowed me to start it my plan. i'm starting tonight and as i promised here are some todays pictures.
i dont have any newspaper from today so i figured i could take a photo holding my laptop with yahoo mainpage open where you can see the date etc.
i also took some pictures with some clothes that used to fit me (and i like to wear large jeans, now i can barely close the zip).

LOOL fuck my life, i've been looking all around for my "fan" (the wind blower? not sure if that's right in english) and now after looking at my photos i saw that it's right in front of my all the time.

I don't see what your rush is. If you want a permanent weight loss doing it slower is generally the better solution. I hear this said to pregnant women ALL the time "It took nine months to put it on, it'll take nine months to take it off". Realistically your goal should probably be 4-6 months away because you took awhile to put it on.

Ask yourself this: If I lost 40 lbs in two weeks before, how in the world did I put 60 lbs back on so fast?

Because you did it wrong. :)

yep i took me a while but all this time i've been gaining weight i do nothing besides sitting on my computer eating hamburgers with french fries and coca-cola. i know it's really sick what i'm trying to do but i really wanna enjoy my summer and i cant even go out like this...

anyway i'm starting today a detox diet so i'm not allowed to eat anything solid for 10 days, only juices and water. hopefully this diet will get ride of all the crap out of my system and considering i'm going to run atleast two miles/day and do some step, this diet could be a good boost to my goal.

oh lord that is so unhealthy. I know eating burgers and drinking soda isn't any better but what you are doing can put you into a hospital in a matter of weeks. After drinking only juice and water (no solids) for 10 days, I really don't know how anyone would have the energy to run 2 miles a day.

If you want to lose the weight to be thin & unhealthy for the summer, there is nothing to convince you otherwise. But I wouldn't expect to keep the weight off any longer than that.

Stop doing that then. Cutting those bad habbits alone is going to let you lose some weight.

1. There'll be other summers. 2. Do you plan to do this every May? Because that's what's going to happen if you don't lose the weight right. Just because you're a few pounds heavier is going to ruin your summer? You can just as easily go out swimming every single day and it would help you to drop the pounds.

How do you figure going on a high sugar juicy diet is cleaning out your system? How do you figure that's all it's going to take to sustain such a heavy guy for 10 days?

Dear big thing in the sky, that is so unhealthy.
So you're telling us that you're going to be bulimic on a fitness website?

i really dont know if i cant go 10 days only drinking juices (sugar free, with sweetener at most) since the most time i've been without eating was 3 days... someone told me the 3rd day is the worst so i guess it's worth a try...
will make a plan now and post it here after.

Why are you unwilling to accept an alternative of stopping eating unhealthy food like burgers and Cokes, and instead spending the next 10 days eating healthy foods like veggies, fruits, and lean meat?

You know already you're going to fail in your plan - you just said you know you can't do it. So ... why start something that you know you can't do?

I don't understand the logic here?

because it's a win-win sittuation.
Sweetie, no. It's not. It's a complete loss for you. Do you understand that when you do stuff like this, you damage your metabolism which means next time it'll be easier to gain it all back and even harder to lose it? Do you understand that when you starve your body of necessary nutrients you damage your kidneys, your liver, your pancreas? Do you understand that you can make yourself seriously ill with this plan?

This is not a win for anyone and especially not for you.

because it's a win-win sittuation. if i do it it would be awesome but even if i cant i lose a lot of weight anyway.
But you're going to set yourself up for something you wont like.

If you dont actually take any food in, just liquids, the only way that will work for you to lose fat is if you do nothing. i litterally mean nothing but lay around.

But if you have to move, your body will go into a catbolic state, you'll start breaking down muscle and organ tissue for fuel for your body. Muscle tissue is what burns fat. So when that 10 days is over, you've now lost more of what it takes to really lose weight AND you're going to be eating like a horse because you're starving. If you lose 10 lbs, you'll gain back 15..bet on it. And because your body thinks its starving, because it is, you will start hoarding calories so whatever you DO eat is going immediately to fat.

Unless you plan on stavation like prison camp kind of starvation for MONTHS at a time, starving for 10 days is going to do nothing but make you gain more weight.

Hah okay. Listen. All you're going to end up doing is starving your body, which automatically freaks out and goes, 'Oh crap. I'm dying. Any calories I get I better store, because i'm not getting enough.'

Do yourself a favor, and go swimming this summer. Hiking. Jogging. Whatever. But if you starve yourself, you're just going to gain it back, plus more.
