Fractured left foot in October

Took a month for me to even start using my crutches. Was on ankle brace for 3 weeks. Off it now. Should I try to start jogging/running? I tried a few small jumps and it was difficult. Drinking milk every night for the bone.

Sounds like it might be a bit too soon for jogging or running if it's still difficult to do small jumps. How is it when you walk? Have you done any single leg balance exercises on it yet?

It's not too bad when I walk. I'm currently doing the P90 home workout and sometimes during the stretches it's pretty difficult. The closest to that is stretching my right quad on one leg.

Definitely work on some balance exercise to regain proprioception in and around the joint. Also work on being able to walk for a decent amount of time pain-free - how long do you currently walk for? When you do start running/jogging, start very slow and do a walk/jog program (for example 30 sec jog, 2-3 mins walk). Whatever you do, make sure that you are pain-free, before moving on to the next stage.

I don't feel like its good enough. I ran on a machine for 30 minutes and it was fine. I want to do it for 3 days a week for a few weeks and then try to job on ground.

Just be careful and ease into the 3 days per week very slowly to avoid overdoing it. How did the ankle feel after the run & the next day?

If in any doubt about what you should be doing, I would suggest seeing a physical therapist for guidance :)

It was okay. I was on my back for the past 2 months because of it. So I am not in shape at all. A lot of the time when I get up I get dizzy and whatnot. That's why I want to try the 3 days a week on the machine to try and get past the ice. When I take deep breaths.. it doesn't feel like a full one.. my chest makes the wheezing sound.
