Hello to all, I am new to these parts! I have already experienced the "forum bullies" be careful, I noticed they will try to bring ya down...they didnt succeed with me! I am here for the same reason the mojority of us are here. to get support & advice.
(in a productive,meaningful manor)
I hope to make some good online friends that can help me as much as I can possibly help them as well! I know there are alot of SCAMS out there, but like everyone else, I am desperate to lose some pounds! I am not looking for a easy way out, I do exersize & I eat sensibly but am struggling to lose weight. I have been watching calories, eating light or fat free for months now and staying away from fast foods. If anyone can give me some "friendly" advice, feel free! I hope to get some GREAT support from these forums that will help me and motivate me even more! :waving:

Ha...

Hahahaha....

haha....

Would I be one of those bullies?

You have 7 posts here and you think you have this place figured out, huh?

You're right. I'm here to make life miserable for everyone who posts here. I want everyone to fail. I hate when people reach their goals.

1. What are your current stats? height/age/weight/gender -
2. What is your current goal?
3. What do you think you're gaining by eating fat free and light eating?
4. How many calories a day are you currently consuming?
5, What is your current exercise plan?
6. How are you tracking your calories?

Bigger person than me mal. Hard to help people when they aren't proactive...

"Give a man a fish and he eats for a day..."

You know, what is ironic is that the 2 people that you feel are 'bullys' are two of the more knowledgeable people here. One has lost almost 200lbs, one knows more about fitness and nutrition than anyone I have read- there is a prize for figuring out which is which. There is a reason most of the stickied threads are by either of them.
Lighten up Francis and listen to what people have to say. Stop being 'desperate' to lose weight. Figure out a plan to lose it slowly and healthy, ask questions but try to do research before you ask.
There is a ton of great information here and some very knowledgeable people, use that information and the people to help you get to your goal.
Good luck.

I never once replied that these men were not knowlegeable & that they were not successful at reaching thier goals...I am happy for them. I am just saddened that they prey on the weaker ones. If you read my post it simply stated that being constructive with advice is going to help people more. There is a member in here who's screen name is WISHES...the replies from that member is meaningful. That persons REP POWER is much greater...I wonder why??!!

Again, I'm female -not male... :D

and wishes can be an even bigger bitch than i am - it's one of the things I l ike best about her - she doesn't coddle too many people..

and steve has the highest rep on this forum but reputation is pretty meaningless around here.. doesn't matter...

and we are trying to help you get to your goals -I just don't coddle people either.

Are you going to answer the questions asked above? if you want help we need more information.. .

Again, you haven't a clue what you're talking about.

Ya, Wishes is helpful.

That's about all you have right so far.

A) Your math skills suck.

B) So life is a popularity contest to you? I say fuck the reputation meters. They suck.

C) Telling you that fad diets are lame and using sarcasm is CONSTRUCTIVE ADVICE, just not the most POSITIVE manner, but when it's been said ad nauseum, there is a certain right to state it like that.

D) I like using letters to outline my points!

forums are scary....

:p

just keep posting.. if your here for the right reasons you shouldn't care what others think

They can be obnoxious places... generally people don't like others coming into their house and pissing on their carpets. Pet peeves, yano? Might be a bad analogy to some, but perfect to others.

What I just read from you Maleficent is what this conversation is about. I wasnt emlying that you were a male either. Your effert to resolve this FRICTION by offering help is what people (like myself) need. No LAUGHTER! The HAHAHA BS has got to go, it is a mochery and also could be insulting to so many people that just need help. Anyways... to your questions.
5'6"/166lbs/f
goal 130-135lbs

I watch portion size although thats my weakness

bring your cals down to 1200.. unless your ripping it in the gym and burning 1000 cals their i'd really consider a lower caloric day

I am not sure I would take this advise.
Pretty sure 1200 would be rather low for your size. Not an expert though- my opinion.
I am sure someone will be around soon to check this.

i said thats if shes not really hitting the gym.. if shes really hitting the gym and exercising a lot then keep it at 2000..

Sorry, could be speaking out of turn here. 1200 just seems too low for someone of her size IMO.
However, you may know more than I do.
