For those of you who have already lost a lot of weight....?

I have a question,

I am very focussed on losing weight and have had good success in the first week of my 'diet'. My question is I seem to lose weight in my face and upper body first...will this even out, will I start to notice the loss from other areas as well?

I do a wide variety of exercises and concentrate on all my problem areas so hopefully this is the case?

Have others found this has happened that you start to shed weight from certain areas quicker than other areas?

Hi Leslee,

Yes this is the case with me too; I loose wt first on my face and gradually it evens out. I have read and heard that the last place you loose wt is the first place you put it on. In my case I put on wt quickly arnd my butt and thigh area and that is the last place I seem to loose.

Keep going. You are on the right track and you will soon see results in the other areas of your body too.

Remember consistency in your workouts and a sensible diet is the key to achieving your goals.

:cool: Thanks that is good to know....looks like I'm a butt and thigh girl too...plus have a tiny bit of baby belly to move...:cool:

Hi,

Mumtotwo, we are the same height, I'm about 193 right now. I don't weigh much cos its saddening so I just keep trying. I'm trying to get between 150-160lbs. I have this gut and if I weren't top heavy, it would be very obvious, it seems I've had it forever. I'm glad to have found this site tho, there are lots of people here in my shoes. I really have no hips so my waist and thighs seem to be the last to go if I lose anything. what to do?:confused:
