For those in the 150's...

Yo-Yo Weight

I was at 150 last Friday but don't know where I'll be tomorrow morning. I don't think it'll be that good. I stepped on the scale a couple days ago and weighed 155! Then this afternoon I was at 153.5, so who knows what tomorrow will bring. This is the first week I'll weigh in and perhaps see a gain instead of a loss. That scares me. Guess I need to take a look at the amount of times I'm cheating and calculate my overall calorie deficit in a week. Either that, or I have to account for muscle gain due to jogging and lifting heavier free weights in my workouts. ... anyways, I'm quite sure I'll be in the 150s club another week. So come on 150s folks; start posting and sharing where you're at. lol

I'm so freakin' tired of dieting. I have absolutely no desire to keep tormenting myself with this whole idea of me being super skinny. I so wanted to be 149.8 by May 15 but I've lost nothing this week and today I saw .8 gain. Freakin' sucks and I'm tired of it.
 
(((Kaitie))) I know exactly how you feel. I felt that way one day this week. Let that disappointed feeling go, as quickly as it came, because we just have to remind ourselves ... it ... takes ... time. I gained more than .8 last week, but my thighs are rock hard from jogging and elliptical and I'm seeing definition in my arms. I'm sure you also have success such as clothes fitting better, or think about all the times you ate healthy last week! Do you think you might be dieting too strictly? I felt deprived this week for the first time in months, and I think it's because I need to introduce some new foods into my eating plan, just to add variety.

The 150s club is okay for another week. Do you use fitday.com or have a journal where you post your food daily? I'm flying to another city for work next week and that means 3 days of being surrounded by fast food & restaurant food, so I'll have to be extra careful. I bet you'll make it to the 140s before I do, darlin'!! I make little goals (like 149 by May 15th) all the time, but they rarely come true because weight loss is not linear (Steve's language). I had 139 pounds written in my calendar at work, for May 11th. Had a good laugh about that with my boss. No, don't worry one more bit about the .8 gain - you are going to lose the weight. We'll both be in the
140s club and doing the happy dance! :jump:

I hope you're not too lonely over in the 140s club. Come to think of it, there's not a lot of people in their 140s. Isn't that weird? I know one gal, named Blancita - she has a diary over in the journal section. She's at 141 and stuck on a plateau. You could recruit her too! I'll let her know next time I'm in her diary. It gets really frustrating at times but I'm glad there's always a shoulder to lean on in those moments---I really appreciate it!

Good luck on your trip---it's always hard to be away from home, I know I get the mentality of 'well, I'm on vacation so all bets are off with this diet thing' Totally the wrong attitude..... :)
 
Y'all seem to be at the bottom level of the 150's but I am an aspiring 150ist and would like to poke my nose in here and see what was up:D 2 more lbs and I am there!!! lol. 145 is my final goal!!! If I can really focus on exercise I think I would do fine but I am ulitmatly a lazy person;)... or is it busy.. lol. So my goal for the summer is to kick booty and stay consistant with workouts and breeze through the 150's:D You all are doing so well and even now the 150's for me seems so phenominal!!! So hope to talk to you all soon:D
 
mishi I looked at your ticker real quick and I was like what---- 1610 pounds? huh? and then it dawn on me that your numbers were overlapping...boy I must be tired. :)
 
just thought id pop in and say hi to you guys. i unofficially weighed in yesterday at 160 lbs so im hoping it wont be too long before i join you. my weight does fluctuate quite a lot during the week so im not changing my ticker yet as it will probably be up a bit by thursday/ friday. slim
 
lol Katie!!! well 1610 is close to 150's... isn't it:D Would love to be here by the end of May!!! Please keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

I'm hoping to say good-bye to this club by the end of May...by tomorrow would be too much to hope for---I'm losing the weight 2 ounces at a time...which I'll take!!!

Here's hoping for 150.2 or .4 tomorrow!

No more plateau.

i weighed 158 today, but its not my "official" weigh in day till thursday, so im keeping my fingers x`ed till then. slim
 
Im in the 150ish, 5'7" 46 years old. Down from about 180ish. About a year and a half of work (pic below). I hope this isnt the wrong thread for males (LOL), parden me if it is, please. Goal is to stay in this range, but to loose some lower ab fat tissue (DIET and cardio)

although it still isnt my official weigh in day, i am now 157.6 lbs, so im counting myself in. hopefully the scales wont go up too much before thursday.hi to everyone. slim
edit: i am now unofficially overweight, no longer obese, yeh
 
well this will be my last sunday in the 150s!

i weighed in at 150 this morning and i had a bad week!

i'm hoping for a good week and getting down to 148 by next saturday (my next weigh in)

Hi to you all! I am 160 today and by next week I will be an official member of this club! Changed my ticker as I am at my goal!! woooooo hooooooo. Now down to 145 and my final goal!!
