For those in the 150's...

Ok, so.. I'm pressing on until Friday to do my official weigh in after my eating disaster in Boone. UGH. I'm still here though. Looks like we all are seeing various things that are hindering our progress, but lets make this weekend and this coming week a great one!!! (Although, it is TOM for me). yuck!

Ok, well I can join your 150s club; I weigh 153 as of today (St. Patty's day). I don't know if I can be in the 140s club by the end of March, that's 4 pounds in 14 days... hmmmmmm. And at the end of March I will be having my supergreat TOM.

But anyway, I am definitely happy to join your club. I haven't seen the lighter side of the 150s since before I moved to Hollywood (in October of this past year).

I hope to join the 140s club by the middle of my next TOM cycle. So, we'll see....

=)

156.4 today....here's hoping I can move down to the 140's soon, hopefully by the middle of April. *crosses fingers*

well right now i weigh 72.5kg im not exactly sure if im in the 150's but my estimate is somewhere int the high 150's so hello everyone!

Hi & welcome!

Hey DSRA2007!
It's great you are here! We are all working towards another pound lower!
Success to you & everybody else here!
Cheryl
:)

Great Work

Thanks Pilates- I actually have decided to get into strength training. And you're right, the tape measure is a better way to track progress. It's odd, although I have actually gained a few pounds, my thighs are 1 inch smaller. Still want to see more progress, but realizing that strength training may be the smarter way to turn my body into a fat-burning machine :)

That is great to hear! It seems like you are doing a lot of the right things! Keep up the great work and I am sure that you will meet and exceed all of your goals. This is why I like using the tape measure, you are definitely making progress regardless of what they scale is saying.

I think its a tough thing for women to get into strength training at first because of the fear of getting too muscular or just not knowing what they are doing sometimes (not that this is the case for you). But once someone does get into, they realize the amazing benefits and are always glad they did give it a shot.

Good luck!

Well gals (and guys) I hope to join you in the 150s club this Friday when I do weigh in. I went up the last while for two reasons. Had my gall bladder out but also ate a bit too much a couple weeks ago. So here's to renewed energy and commitment. I'm at 158 right now I think...hoping my scale at home is right. But will weigh myself at the university gym this Friday.

Have a great week everyone!

I too will be putting in an official weigh in on Friday! So, I'll be joining you Anna on the scale.. well, maybe i'll let you go first. ;)

Good Morning, 150's crowd! Hope you all are doing well and getting in that exercise and eating right! I have to go pump myself up enough to get on the treadmill for some HIIT and really need to do it now...wonder if it's been long enough since I ate breakfast. Hmmm..

Tomorrow is weigh in day, and I need to get that scale moving down, down, down! My weight number hasn't moved in a while, but I'm hoping to show it moving soon .. and in the downward direction!

I'll change my tracker style tomorrow with new and improved updated weight! =)

Good morning Photocrazed! And good morning everyone else too!

I weighed in this morning (official weigh-in day)- 159.8!!! Woohoo!!! I hope I stay in the 150s club for the next while. And if I do leave, it's to join the 140s club :D

PS- I dropped these few lbs after:
1) I stopped writing down everything on Spark People. I was obsessing about food allll the time and knew this was stressing me out.
2) I started lifting weights and making sure I was being more active.
3) I started thinking about portion sizes. I bought a kitchen scale and new measuring cups & spoons. I haven't used them yet though, but have been mentally sizing things up more.
4) Thinking more about small things I can do, such as eating healthy snacks throughout the day.

I'm really excited about the snow melting here. I have my gym clothes sitting there just waiting to be taken out for a run. Tonight may be the night- I see a bit of slush and ice on the sidewalks, but think it may be melted by this evening.

It's 73 degrees here today. I think I might go play some tennis later.

Whoo-hoo everyone. I really and truly am in the 150s club. My body doesn't seem to be in that post surgery self protective mode and isn't hanging on to every single calorie. I weighed today and am at 157.5. Sigh of relief. Have a great weekend everyone. Eat on plan and feel great.

Hi everybody!

Hey, y'all. I'm still here in the 150s. I have to be happy that I've left the 160s behind me, but I wish I would break through into the 140s.
I've been tired & lazy for the last few days. It's rainy and bleak here.
I'm finally getting my water in, though, which is a good thing...it has been one of my goals. My next goal to conquer is the exercise. It is the most difficult thing for me!
Have a good weekend!
Cheryl

Well, I did weigh in yesterday, but I forgot to note the weight here.

So, 155.6 was the not so magic number. I can't wait to see the 140's and am pushing for 149 by the end of April.

Hi everyone!

This is the perfect club for me right now, although I hope to be in the 140's soon! I'm anywhere from 151 to 154 right now (starting weight 160).

I'm just trying to eat healthier and exercise more, although lately, I've been lazing about and overeating, but it's Spring Break! So that's my excuse. :)

There haven't been any posts in this thread for the last couple of days, so I guess it's time to get things moving again.

How often do you all weigh yourselves and update your weights?

I weigh every day, but I only update once a week (on Fridays) with my average weight for the last 7 days. It's nice to see it gradually creeping down, and the spreadsheet I use to record my results looks good with the numbers showing a general downwards trend.

I weigh myself...irregularly. Whenever I feel there might be a change (good or bad), I guess, and whenever I'm near a scale, haha.

I used to do that. We didn't have a scale in the house. It was nice if I'd been doing well, and I could see a sudden drop in weight. Made me feel really good.

I weigh myself at my boyfriend's apartment, usually everytime I go, just out of curiosity. But I "seriously" weigh myself (first thing in the morning with no clothes on) once every 2-3 weeks.

I weigh myself at the gym on Fridays for the Hotties in 2007 thread. But I admit often throughout the week I'll weigh myself at home. tee hee
