Fooled by protein shake

To help monitor my calorie intake and to reward myself for a good workout, I have been indulging in a protein shake at my local gym. According to the gym, the shake only has 320 calories, which fits perfectly into m y "plan" [5'6" 150 lb.s, want to be 142 lbs.] eating 1200-1500 calories, staggering 1200-1400-1200, protein 50%, carbs 30%, fat 20%] Unfortunately, I have been maintaining my weight, no matter how hard I work out. (lift targeted muscle groups, 3x week, cardio 4x, alternating between 45 min and 30 min spinning, running-including intervals, and elliptical training. Here is my question: I want to make this same shake at home to better control the calories, but I still want the same great smooth consistency that makes it feel like a reward. I have already invested in an expensive blender, but I have had very little luck with replication. Can it be done? What is a healthy shake? What to put in it? Help!

buy a tub of protein powder and blend it with milk??

or try fresh natural yoghurt blended with honey and strawberries?
