So lately Ive been following Canada's food guide to help aide me, in making sure im getting enough healthy foods. I dont know how much different It is from Americas food guide but here are the following recommended ammounts:
Veggies & Fruit-19-50yrs= Females 7-8 servings Males 8-10
Grain Products- 19-50yrs= Females 6-7 /Males 8 servings
Milk & Alternatives- 19-50yrs= Females 2 /Males 2 servings
Meat & Alternatives-19-50yrs- Females 2/ Males 3 servings
Grain products are quite high, so I stick to about 2-3 servings of Grain products a day.
I just want to know, if anyone else has tried something like this before, and If it has helped at all? It seems pretty good to me, but then again Im no expert, and Im also trying to eat around 1500cals/day, and once I see more results, and I lower my caloric intake by 50-100cals.
