Hi! I'm brand new to this site but I read your post about how you use food for comfort etc...I'm the same way!! I think everyone is (but maybe thats a generalized statement) All of my friends say the same thing about food. I'm no longer dieting, but I am managing my weight. I STILL have to think of replacents for my need to eat for whatever ails me. There's a couple things I do that actually really work for me. One is I make myself get motivated by watching The Biggest Loser every Tues. nite. It's on NBC in case you want to check it out. I Tivo the episodes so that if I want or need motivation, I can re-watch it. It stops me cold from going to the fridge. I watch what those people go thru and it reminds me where I have been and where I don't ever want to go again!! The other is rock and roll music. Don't quite know why that works , but it does. (not country).
