food 5x's a day not working out. help

Ok,
I have been at eating 5 meals a day. Following the whole nutritionthing. I eat my complex carbs in the morning and mid day with lean protein. Then the last three meals lean protein with veggies. I have eliminated diet coke and am now drinking water or flavored water. Workout 3 x's a week spinning classes. I have been at this for 2 weeks have lost 1 lb but feel fatter and bloated. What is going on. I feel like I am eating like a pig and I don't know what to do??? can someone give me advice? or motivation? something???:confused:
 
I am used to the crash diets. I recently lost 40 lbs in 2.5 mnths. I decided to change my eating habits and have been trying to eat healthy the usual, oatmeal adn egss in morning with a fruit. wheat toast and protein shake for snack. then slada and tuna for lunch, some cheese or grapes for snack then chicken and veggies for dinner. I am trying to get my metab. up again. but I feel like I am eating toooo much and I am not sure if this is working or not.
 
I am sure you realize 1 pound/week is fine progress, but it's not what you want or are used to. You didn't mention anything about how old you are, gender, body fat %, age, weight, height, etc.

How much you weigh the scale moves is not a good indicator of your progress. What if you lost 3 pounds of fat but gained 2 pounds of nice muscle? Net result shown on scale = 1 pound loss... but in reality you lost three pounds of fat.

Since I do not know any of your stats I cannot make more recommendations. But eating 5 times/day is good. You may need more calories for your workout and stats. I don't know.

Puffiness and bloating is likely to occur the first week or so. However you should not continue to feel puffy. If you do continue to feel puffy the first place I would look is at your protein intake and water consumption. Too much or not enough of those can cause puffiness and bloatedness.

Also is your only workout your spinning classes? If so then add weights. Weights are your best friend.
