flat stomach

Welcome to the board.

Cardio is the only way to lose your stomach. Along with eating properly of course. Spot reducing doesn't work. Just up the cardio and you will see the fat all over your body melt away, even in the stomach, although for me, that spot seems to take forever.

Awww man... *has horrible feeling the BELLY is going to take its time to disappear from me too* :-(

Probably, unfortunately. Diet and exercise will make you lose the fat. As you exercise, I'm sure you'll probably do ab exercises that will help get you some muscles there. But that's it.

But if you lose the weight the belly will flatten. That's better than doing a million crunches a day, isn't it?

thanks for welcoming to this thread. i have read some of the things to work out plan. i have started the Special K cereal diet, along with my six small meals a day. because i have back problems i'm limit at what i can do, i do a lot of walking. douring the day at work.

the special k diet plan is a really bad plan... It's not going to be effective long term... it's too low in calories.

Spend some quality time reading the stickied threads around the forum... starting in Nutrition...

As what people always say, CARDIO my friend. This is the most basic way to burn your fats and get a flat stomach. I know it wasn't that easy to lose fat. However, if you only dedicate yourself on achieving it and your doing it with precision then you'll surely hit your goal.

Firstly you must know that you will lose fat from all areas of your body an not just your belly.

Now in order to lose fat, you must consume less calories than you burn. You can do that by cutting back on your food intake as well as doing exercises to help burn off the calories.

However, in order to flatten your stomach, you will also have to do a lot of abdominal exercises to tone that area.

I hate abdominal exercises exercises. Frankly, I thought that regular exercising and regulating the intake of carbo are sufficient to shrink and flatten my tummy.

By the way, is swimming an effective exercise for reducing weight?

I love swimming but dislike jogging. :) I have so many times that swimming is less effective than jogging. Is that true? I certainly hope it is not.
