A good triceps exercise is the "rope-kickback". Get a workout rope (every gym has one). Tie it in a know so that only one "ball" is exposed, then hook it up to a mid-pulley. Then just bend over so that you are perp to the floor and do the traditional triceps kickback exercise. You'll luv em because unlike the dumbbell kickback, there is both eccentric and concentric resistance.

The only thing that I can advice to you is that the "punching-bag workout". Try that one because for me, it really works. That one is good for the arm... :action11:

You can always do sprinting routines and mix it with some basic, low intensity body-weight exercises.

Here is an entertaining trail running/sprinting video.

And you should definitely do some core region strengthening exercises. Strong core muscles will improve your performance and prevent injuries.

Exercise aerobically, 5 to 7 days a week. Exercises such as walking, jogging, stair-stepping, aerobic dance allow the heart to jump, facilitating fat-burning and stamina. Do this preferably in the morning.Exercise in the zone level. Your target is to get the body weight suitable for your height.Exercise 20 to 60 minutes for each exercise session. Work out twice a day, one aerobic and the other stretching and weight training.Eat a low-fat, balanced diet each day. Minimize fat intake but maintain the right combination of the four food groups.Eat three meals and two snacks each day. Don’t skip on meals, of course, in the correct quantities. To prevent any desire to binge on food, eat one snack in between. More than this, you’re overeating.

Exercising that much will be considered overtraining - she would need rest days. I used to do 6 days a week but because I am TTC I just back and I do 5 days a week

play video games while spinning on a bike or better catch up on your facebook, fitness.com forum, get the base miles you always wanted but never had time for.
Spin Desk, I ordered one today. I will post how much I did per week.
Maybe this is the way I go from 0 to hero?

I agree with Ride On. As Ride On said....It would be very beneficial for you to begin a Full Body weight training routine, combined with various cardio activities! There are three factors that contribute to building muscle mass - diet, training AND rest. All are equally critical to success.

If you want abs, check your diet first as that's what will determine what a lot of your results will be.

Also, know your limitations. Many people naturally possess a visual six-pack, others a four pack and still others just a flat abdominal. Genes have much to say about what you are cabable of.

I know my community does a "walk to school day" that involves not just students but parents, teachers, and even some city officials that participate..Not only would the hours of walking count but so would the time planning, networking, advertising, media promotions, and meeting of all participators also. This way they get everyone to exercise and at the same time promotes healthy lifestyle choices. At the end of the walk everyone enjoys a healthy breakfast.

Hi Pink<3,

Have you ever done a triathlon? Sounds like you like the cardio and tri's can be found that are short and relatively easy to well, long and hard.

Since you have to train all three disciplines it is great for giving you variety and because everyone has one or more areas that are weaker, the learning curve is fun.

Plus, all tri's have a team event that separates the three disciplines between team mates, so you can gets some friends on board if you want.

I am a cyclist and was encouraged to try one and wasn't gonna at first but found out there were short ones. As it worked out, my son wanted to do it too and preparing for it and more or less racing against his time was an awesome experience!

The swimming nearly killed us both! The training and the event!!! Unforgettable experience though.

Try throwing in some sprint work. If runnings working don't stop it, sprints are a great way to keep doing it and get a higher intensity and more variety
