Hey there guys and gals! My name is Eric, I'm 22 yrs of age and I'm from Houston Texas! I am currently in the beginning stages of my weight loss journey. I joined this forum board to HOPEFULLY get some tips, and encouragement from people who are trying to reach their goal just like me. As of right now my diet is kind of everywhere, I have no SET diet, nor do I know how many calories I need to be ingesting daily. Here are my stats and what i've been eating as of 5 days ago.
H: 5'7''
W: 267lbs
Age: 22
Daily foods: Strawberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Carrots, Salads, Coconuts, Bananas, Grilled Chicken, Rice, Broccoli, and protein shakes.
I eat every two hours in VERY small portions. IF I go somewhere to eat (Usually Chipotle, or Subway) I split that particular meal into three meals eaten at two hour intervals. At subway I always get a six inch wheat tuna sandwhich - with just lettuce, cucumber, jalapenos, and banana peppers and water as a drink. Chipotle I get a Burrito bowl with light rice, black beans, grilled chicken, Hot Sauce, lots of lettuce, and corn - with just water as a drink.
I go to the gym Monday through Friday with each day having a 30-40 minute cardio session on the elliptical, and then go in for a 90-120 minute weight training. Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders, Core, Chest, Abdominal.. you name it I work it out (with the appropriate day spacing) and I rest on Saturday and Sunday.
I'm just wondering if i'm approaching this in the correct manner.. If you have any comments, tips, or just wanna say Hi - I would love to hear your two cents on the matter =] Thanks a lot in advance!
