What's an independent beach body coach?

What certification agency are you getting certified through for your pt cert?

personal trainer cert.

i am getting my personal training certification thru AFAA. the gym i go to is hosting the certification. i've been wanting to do this for a long time, so i'm going for it. i see to many people doing things wrong, and i feel i'm not in the position to tell them other wise, it's not my place. when i get certified, then at least i have something to fall back on, and if i do aproach someone, i am qualified.

Meh, not a fan of AFAA but if it's hosted by your gym... so be it. Just an FYI, no cert, especially AFAA, 'qualifies' you.

I can pass any cert in a weeks study time.

They're simply a first leg into the business.

And I wouldn't even call it that.

personal training

which one in personal opinion is the best. and i do plan on continuing my education in this area. thanks for the input

NSCA is the best IMO, followed by NASM and ACSM.

They're tough exams relative to the rest, they're accredited agencies, and still, these just get your foot in the door.

Any of the others as far as I can tell leave you standing on the wrong side of the door waiting to be let in.
