Fit but Fat.

Hello all,

I'm looking to buddy-up with someone in perhaps a similar situation who can mutually motivate so here's an intro.

20/f/Asian not naturally blessed with the small skinny Asian frame. I've always been chubby around the edges and that never quite went away. Now standing at 5'4 (1.64m) and weighing in at ~150lbs (68kg), I'm overweight.
See:

The thing is, I engage in a decent amount of sport. I swim, gym, box and am gradually incorporating running which due to injury I couldn't previously. (Am training for a biathlon next year) With all that, especially since I've picked up on the frequency and intensity of trainings recently, it is rather demoralising that my weight has only been increasingly steadily. I know my figure is not anywhere near what I want it to be - my belly jiggles, my arm flaps and don't even get me started on the thunder in my thighs! - so I'm just hoping that in the long run I'll start seeing positive changes rather than what the miserable ol' scale tells me. I'm beginning to think that my scale's rigged because everytime I step on it expecting a lower figure, the numbers find perverse joy in flashing something much higher.

I love to eat. Okay, so that's where the problem is. Asian food, unlike Western food, is usually a mishmash of various things so I've never bothered with Calorie counting. I do attempt to watch what I eat - 2 main meals a day, no fastfood - but that odd piece of chocolate cake or fried chicken always finds its way between my lips.

Well, that's a brief intro I guess. Not quite sure what I'm looking for on here other than a buddy and motivation to stick to what I'm doing and await results. Cheers for reading.
