Hi Everyone,
I started my program one week ago. I stepped onto the scale this morning and was pleased to see that I have dropped down from 101Kg's to 95Kg's. Sure, much of this weight loss can be ascribed to water retention etc, but my jeans a looser and my shirts fit better.
How have I done ti so far?
I ate 7 meals a day, religiously. Normally I would grab something on the go, and when the evening came, I would stand in front of the fridge and graze like a grizzly bear until I was within an inch of exploding. Then, come the weekend, I would give in to the "treats" that I was not having during the week. I would be getting that chocolate and having pizza with the kids. Well, no more. Ontop of this, I have been plugging 45min a day on the stairmaster and throwing in weights on alternate days. My challenge now, is to completely stop any alcohol. My wife and I will usually sit on the porch on Fridays and Saturdays, get into conversations about God and the world, and have a couple of drinks. While this is a ritual that I would be loathed to just drop completely, I will move away from beer and wine and just have a whiskey. I know that I should not be talking about booze on this kind of site, but we are still people and sometimes there is a bit of therapeutic "good" when we socialize.
I will keep you informed as to what is going down next week with regards to the tale of the tape by posting some pics. Right now, they are of a chubby guy who is looking a little less chubby than before. - To quote the old cliche:" The journey to great things has to begin with a step..."
Have a wonderful week
