Hi everyone, I also needed to lose a considerable amount of weight . 108 pounds to be exact . I have been doing this for just a week over 3 months, when i started it i weight at 253 pounds ... ouch , i had so much back pains and what scared me straight was that i was having trouble breathing just strolling around !.... oh and i'm only 27 . As of yesterday i weighed in at get this 209!!! I have not been at this weight for over 8 years, and it feels damn good to finally say i dont have to worry about yoyo dieting , its not a diet , it's a lifestyle change, I started to jog in small spurts about 2 weeks ago and now i can jog for a half a block or so without feeling like i'm gonna pass out .
All i've been eating is this: Cereal w/ 1 1/2 cups of 1% milk for breakfast : 355 calories, a Frozen meal and a BIG salad : 500-600 range . A no sugar low fat yogurt and half a pear : 110 calories, dinner's the same as lunch , and a piece of fruit for dessert. and that basically adds up to 1,500 calories, which at my size is making me lose around 3- 3 1/2 pounds if you factor in that i go for walks every day and hit the gym for 30 mins 3 times a week . The gym really is the part i dont care so much about . I have met very few people who actually enjoy going to the gym and i certainly am not in that group, but i do find the elliptical kinda fun from time to time . Oh and i make sure i drink lots of water and i take multivitamins just in case i'm not getting enough nutrients in . Less than 10 pounds and i'll be in the 100's again.... Can't wait .
