Firm up legs?

I'm in the midst of my weight loss program and one of my trouble spots are my legs, specifically upper legs. I have quite a bit of muscle on my calfs, but hate my thighs. What are some good tips on firming your upper legs up? :action5:
 
Typical trouble spot for women. Here's the unpleasant truth... you need to drop fat overall to get those thighs as lean as you would like. We don't get to choose where the darn fat comes from and in order for my thighs to be as lean as I like I have to get kind of stringy upper body wise. You can squat til your butt falls off, believe me I have tried but you are fighting estrogen and the female genetic law that hips and butt must hold on to the fat til the last possible minute. Buidling some great muscle tissue helps the shape for sure but until I get super lean they are always looser then the rest of me. Sigh.
