Fingernails

When i was younger i used to get this all the time. So i researched and found out what they were.

In most cases they are caused from trauma and since it takes many months for your nails to grow out. the spots can last quite some time before that injured spot on the nail can grow out. For others Their is the possibility its a form of bacteria infection. Though the second most likely cause (next to trauma) is simply a Zink deficiency.

I get them from time to time also, but I have not had any since I started using whitening strips around a year ago.

And I only get the fingernail spots from time to time also, I'll try throwing in some zinc into my supplements and see if it helps any. I'm also not really sure what you mean by trauma though.

White spots on the teeth can mean Lack of any of the following, Calcium, Magnesium, vitamin D, and phosphorus

Take note, all of the above are needed in to absorb ANY calcium. the a lack in just one means your calcium absorption is Extremely redused.

Likely y'all are all getting enough Calcium, so the more likely cause is Magnesium,D,Phosphorus all in that order.

Vitamin D is found in milk (Synethic), cheese, whole eggs, liver, salmon, and. The skin can synthesize vitamin D if exposed to enough sunlight on a regular basis. Also from supplements.

Most leafy greens contain a good deal of Magnesium (if soil is rich). Also most nuts contain Some Magnesium.

Phosphorus is found in milk, grains, lean meats.

I don't get them anymore but I used to get white spots on my fingernails and teeth all the time through my teens. Probably cause there was never any food in the house so I wasn't eating nearly enough. It's funny, I've always wondered what those spots were.
