Finding What Works For You!

Thanks for reading my post,

I wanted to share my weightloss journey with you because after years of struggling with my weight and feeling guilty everytime I ate something I finally found something that worked for me and I think in the end that is the most important thing.

I am a 32 year old mom to 4 boys.

I believe that is enough said...I don't have time to go to the gym, I can't afford a personal trainer, and McDonalds is a friend of mine as I'm always going to or coming from somewhere!

Another important piece of information is that I am an emotional eater...I eat to celebrate, to mourn, to sulk in, and simply just when I'm bored. I classify a social gathering as sitting around a table of food...pretty sad!

3 months ago I was introduced to a product that at first I hesitated as it was a shake, well I want to eat! and if it doesn't taste good it's not getting near my mouth!

Well first off it tastes great, I actually feel like I'm treating myself to a milkshake when I drink it.

I also thought I need a lifestyle change, not a diet!

I found a way to create a new lifestyle for myself using this shake program. I am down 30 pounds and have incredible amounts of energy. I have not started working out and I have not given up much...I still drink coffee and beer, and even stop ocassionally at the infamous McD's.

I LOVE how I am now setting a great example for my boys on the importance of proper nutrition and the dangers of obesity. We have never been a happier family.

I am now ready to push myself for the next 30 pounds, include some excercise and give up completely on fast food. I am very excited for the next 3 months.

The last thing you will need to be successful is Support! I couldn't have lost the weight without it. I am now supporting my mom and my sister through their challenge of the first 30 days, as that's really the toughest part.

I do not promote this product but I do have some contact info of those who do, and the support across the world is so amazing, you can live anywhere.

Whatever program, diet, or small changes you decide to make for yourself, I wish you all the best. I hope to hear from you :)

Brandy,

It is great to hear that you have found something that works for you!!! I hope that you will continue to be successful on your weight loss journey. Just a few tips (if I may) to help you out throughout your journey.

-Make time for some kind of exercise!!! Whether it is walking around your subdivision for 30 minutes or playing with your boys. You aren't going to be able to rely on this "shake". As most weight loss supplements do, you might have a chance of gaining back all the weight you have lost plus more if you haven't done your research on what you are taking. The best kind of shake is a Whey Protein shake, it comes in all kinds of flavors.

-Personal Trainers can be accessible and affordable you just have to do your homework. Do you live in Michigan, maybe I can help you find someone here?

-If you want any kind of weight loss goal to work you HAVE TO CUT OUT THE McDONALD'S even though it is on every street corner. You have to take out all of the junk food in your house, that is the biggest step... If it's there you will eat it and that DOES NOT help you reach your goal any faster or at all for that matter.

-Coffee isn't as bad as the beer drinking is as long as you cut down the amount of sugar and creamer you use if any.

Consuming any alcohol will eliminate all of the hard work you have done with your body. Alcohol is just empty calories that don't help your body, it just adds more fat no matter how much you drink and will keep dehydrating you. Keep this in mind... ALWAYS REMEMBER: MORE WATER LESS BEER!

Keep up the good work you are one of the few people who actually seem to be sticking with some sort of plan to keep yourself living longer!
